Lister House Redevelopment
The Trust continues to work with Harlow Council and NHS England to redevelop and expand health facilities at Lister House, Staple Tye.
At the request of Harlow Council the new Lister House will be redeveloped on Abercrombie Way close to the Community Centre.
The Trust has commissioned Camm architects for the Lister House project. The health centre will accommodate a 10 partner practice with GP training facilities, serving approximately 19,000 patients. There will also be dental services and a pharmacy within the building. A further area is available on the first floor for any future expansion of health services.
Planning approval was given in November 2013. However the application was refused six weeks later as the S106 and land swap agreement could not be finalised.
The Trust continued its negotiations with the Local Authority and re-submitted a further planning application in November 2014 which was approved.

The Trust has been working in partnership with Harlow Council, and NHS England to redevelop, extend and modernise health facilities for the Osler House Health Centre. Several proposals for the entire redevelopment of the Prentice Place site are being considered by the Local Authority which will include the health centre.
