Stort Daybreak Canal Boat

The Trust has made funding available to the Canal Boat Project (a registered charity). This partnership has enabled the construction of a specialist canal boat – Stort Daybreak. Ownership of the vessel will be retained by the Trust and will be operated by the Canal Boat Project from their base at Burnt Mill Harlow.

The vessel has full wheelchair access and will be equipped to meet the needs of people with disabilities and illnesses.

The formal launch of this canal boat will take place in June 2007.
