Sydenham House

The redevelopment of Sydenham House was completed in spring 2003. This project was the fourth major development undertaken by the Trust. Harlow Council and The Trust worked in partnership to provide the Nursery.

The centre was officially opened by Rodney Bickerstaff on Tuesday 2nd November 2004.

The Health Centre can accommodate a 56-bed Intermediate Care Home, a doctor’s surgery, and nursery and more recently the ground floor was reconfigured as part of the COVID-19 support strategy.

Artist Jon Mills produced the bespoke artwork for Sydenham House which are the railings which can be found at each of the individual entrances.
